Art meets spirit and science. Surrounded by glimmering voices, the viola’s rare beauty opens a night of sensitive and impassioned string playing. The Los Angeles Times said Denali’s Amazing Grace will “knock your socks off.” Glass approved our suite from his masterpiece. It features favorite voices from KPCC & KUSC joined by a Broadway star (Ain’t Misbehavin’), two choruses and a rapturous, sometimes blistering, violin.
Opening Night After Party & Forte Awards
10 pm Knoll showroom directly across the street – Jacaranda and special guests will honor two leaders who have promoted performances of new and modern music with distinction.
